	Acute Ventilator Rehabilitation The Acute Ventilator Rehabilitation Program at Jewish Memorial Hospital provides progressive rehabilitation and emotional support for the ventilator dependent patient. Weaning from the ventilator is accomplished through a progressive approach and extensive personal care. We offer a comprehensive program that includes: Aggressive treatment of patients who have been previously unable to wean from mechanical ventilation Invasive Ventilatory Care - All mode ventilation support – All with or without Pressure Support – IMV, SIMV, CPAP Non-Invasive Ventilatory Care - Nasal CPAP, BiPAP, Full oxygen delivery system/s monitoring, Overnight oximetries Patients who will benefit from this program include those who: Require ventilatory support Are candidates for weaning from mechanical ventilation Require weaning from artificial airway Require rehabilitation Dr. Chris Reardon Dr. Martin-Joyce Brady
